We offer a range of subjects for both Ordinary and Advanced level examinations which are comprehensively delivered by our experienced and highly qualified lecturers with a proven record of producing high achievers.

Ordinary level examination marks an important shift in your child’s education as it is the first time they face a public examination which determines their eligibility to do Advanced level examination while Advanced level education decides their place at Universities. Hence, in these decisive phases, students should be given the correct platforms and skills to learn independently.

What is special in our study plan?

We offer university placement for Medical, Engineering, IT, Business, Law and Psychology. Students can follow London A/L parallel to Local A/L or foundation courses.

Crash Courses

These uniquely designed courses deliver two year long subject curriculum in a period of 6 - 12 months prior to London O/L and A/L examinations. They cover the key units of the syllabus, as well as past papers and revision guides comprehensively. (*Subjected to Student’s attainment level)

Assessments

Throughout each course of study, students are continuously evaluated via regular Formative assessments and semester examinations. These are valuable benchmarks for parents and students to assess academic progress. Moreover, systematically recorded assessment data provides an opportunity for teachers and examination bodies to identify students’ levels of achievements.

Virtual Learning

In our aim to prepare students to face various challenges of the future ahead of them, Ethos Education places an immense significance on equipping our students with knowledge and skills in Information Technology. Therefore, we integrate online learning via Zoom into our classroom lessons on a weekly basis where homework and unit-related assessments are conducted on this platform as well.

Conducive Learning Spaces

Each classroom is purposefully limited to 15 students in order to cater to the individual needs of students and give them ample space and freedom to gain the utmost during each session. The use of multimedia in classrooms facilitates comprehensive learning in addition to the facility of learning in air-conditioned classrooms.

Holistic Education

Without limiting students’ learning experiences only to textbooks, students at Ethos are provided with additional courses such as French, Art, and Sinhala on a weekly basis.
